About The Position

Force Factor is seeking a Science & Innovation Intern for the summer of 2027 to support their Innovation team. This internship offers hands-on experience in product development, market research, and collaboration with external partners. Interns will contribute to the company's growth while benefiting from mentorship and professional development. The program is based in Boston's Seaport District, and interns will work on impactful projects. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, strategic, organized, and detail-oriented.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, Masters, or MBA program at an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e., work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.).
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and identify trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, shift priorities, and maintain clear organization of responsibilities.
  • A performance-focused, results-oriented approach - you will need a strong work ethic and drive to achieve results.
  • Ownership mentality, self-motivation, ambition, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, and time management skills.

  • Experience reading and interpreting scientific research and clinical studies is recommended, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and innovative thinking to identify market trends and help create new products that address consumer needs and preferences.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape using various data sources to conduct thorough competitive analyses and inform strategic product development.
  • Collect, organize, and review documentation related to product development and compliance.
  • Assist with in-office sampling of new products, collect and analyze feedback, and communicate findings to external partners to refine and enhance product offerings.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing partners, ingredient suppliers, and internal Supply Chain, Creative, and Marketing teams to facilitate smooth project execution and accelerate the launch of new products to the market.
  • Source, read, and interpret clinical research, and share thoughts around research strengths and results.
  • Work with supplier partners to obtain scientific dossiers, ensuring files are organized and up to date.
  • Assist with brainstorming compliant product claims.
  • Assist with building product registration dossiers for various international partners.
  • Conduct research into product, competitor, and consumer trends for key international markets and retailers.
  • Leverage Claude to support team and individual priorities, including building new tools and workflows, implementing automations, and synthesizing and visualizing data.
