About The Position

The Business Information Analyst II - Pharmacy, Compliance and Operations Reporting is part of the Pharmacy Compliance and Operations Reporting (COPR) team and is responsible for developing reporting and analytics solutions that support pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and business decision-making. This role improves reporting processes and delivers meaningful insights to stakeholders. It involves working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop automated reporting solutions, create and enhance business intelligence dashboards, validate complex healthcare data, and support ongoing reporting needs across the pharmacy compliance and pharmacy operations organizations. The analyst will also create and maintain databases to track business performance, analyze data and summarize performance using summary statistical procedures, and develop and analyze business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) providing notations of performance deviations and anomalies. Additionally, the role includes creating and publishing periodic reports, making necessary recommendations, and developing ad hoc reports as needed. The analyst will take business issues and devise the best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools.

Requirements

Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years related operational and/or data analysis experience, experience in database structures, and standard query and reporting tools; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
