About The Position

This role involves reconciling complex reports, conducting research on servicer reporting issues, correcting servicing errors, interfacing with third parties, building relationships with investors, leading projects, and re-engineering processes for efficiency. The position requires advanced reasoning skills, objective analytical problem-solving, and the ability to work under strict deadlines. The individual will also lead the development of company best practices in data analytics, dashboarding, and reporting, and develop/maintain analytical models and dashboards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state approved equivalency required.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years related work experience.
  • 5 plus years’ experience on SBO 2000 or SBO.NET or comparable knowledge of primary servicing system.
  • Demonstrates advanced computer and software skills necessary for job function.
  • Ability to manipulate data to create specific reports if needed.
  • Exceptionally skilled in verbal and written form as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft written correspondence that conveys messages that cannot be misinterpreted.
  • Operates effectively under general supervision.
  • Receives detailed instructions on new projects.
  • Effectively builds strong relationships with team, manager and department.
  • Possesses objective analytical problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Mortgage and/or Financial services experience a plus.
  • Experience with SQL, SSRS and/or Microsoft Power BI is a material plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reconciles the most complex reports received from primary servicers in accordance with Agreements and Departmental policy under strict deadlines and within short timeframes.
  • Completes research on complex issues relating to servicer reporting, servicer transfers, cash settlement issues and servicer inquiries.
  • Researches and corrects complex servicing errors or discrepancies and ensures accurate information is sent to the trust and investors.
  • Interfaces with Third Parties regarding complex verbal and written loan level requests.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with high-demand investors and identifies ways to address their needs and to satisfy and retain the clients.
  • Leads and executes projects with business partners, IT, vendors, and senior management and implements process improvements.
  • Analyzes current processes, identifies disconnects and re-engineers processes to gain efficiency.
  • Leads the development of company best practices around data analytics, dashboarding, and reporting.
  • Develops, maintains, and owns analytical models and dashboards for internal and external clients.
  • May perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities.
