About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This position will work on-site in Fargo, ND or Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves defining, implementing, and maintaining business processes and procedures to meet business objectives, analyzing and identifying opportunities for business process improvements, and developing initiatives for continuous business process improvements. It also includes coordinating the identification and implementation of improvement models, ensuring compliance with standards, and using best practices for business process analysis, re-engineering, measurement, and change management. The strategist will work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes, and risks, evaluate current processes, recommend solutions, and develop best practices to meet changing business needs. Prioritization and execution of projects for ongoing business improvements, as well as providing technical advice on processing technology, capability, risks, and costs, are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, healthcare administration or related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement and maintain business processes and procedures to meet business objectives.
  • Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvements.
  • Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements.
  • Coordinate the identification of and assist in managing efforts to implement models of improvement to include Improvement Principles, Project Management, Tools, Accountability and Data in relationship to key processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and company proposed standards.
  • Use best practices to carry out business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements and change management actives.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risks.
  • Evaluate current business processes and recommend solutions for improvements.
  • Develop and maintain best practices to meet changing business needs.
  • Prioritize and execute projects for ongoing business improvements.
  • Provide technical advice on processing technology, capability, risks and costs.
