About The Position

Ogletree Deakins is hiring an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal for its Austin, Texas office. The role supports a fast-paced business immigration practice and prepares and files nonimmigrant visa (NIV) and immigrant visa (IV) petitions under attorney supervision. The paralegal compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation, and communicates directly with multiple attorneys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• At least 5 years of employment-based immigration paralegal experience.
• Knowledge of NIV processing, specifically H-1B, L-1, and TN cases.
• Knowledge of IV processing, including I-140s and I-485s.
• Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work independently toward team goals.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a large law firm environment is preferred.
