About The Position

Ogletree Deakins is hiring an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join its fast-paced business immigration practice in the Austin, Texas office. Under attorney supervision, the paralegal prepares and files nonimmigrant visa (NIV) and immigrant visa (IV) petitions. The role includes compiling and analyzing case facts, drafting correspondence, maintaining and organizing client documentation, and communicating directly with multiple attorneys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• At least 5 years of employment-based immigration paralegal experience.
• Knowledge of the nonimmigrant visa process, specifically H-1B, L-1, and TN.
• Knowledge of immigrant visa processing, including I-140s and I-485s.
• Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work independently toward team goals.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

• Experience in a large law firm environment is preferred.
