About The Position

Ogletree Deakins is hiring an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal for its San Diego, California office. The role supports the firm’s business immigration practice, which works with domestic and international corporations on strategies for the international transfer of skilled employees. Under attorney supervision, the paralegal prepares and files visa applications, compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation, and communicates directly with multiple attorneys.

The position’s expected California salary range is $74,120 to $95,920; actual pay may vary based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• At least 2 years of employment-based immigration paralegal experience.
• Knowledge of NIV processes.
• Strong writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work independently toward team goals.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.
