About The Position

The Immigration Paralegal role is an exciting opportunity to grow your career with one of the largest law firms in the United States. We have one of the largest business immigration practices in the United States; our immigration practice group comprises experienced, dedicated immigration lawyers and paralegals who work with domestic and international corporations and businesses to develop appropriate strategies to facilitate the international transfer of skilled employees. Our Raleigh, NC office has an opportunity for an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join their fast-paced business immigration practice! Under attorney supervision, the immigration paralegal prepares and files high-volume NIV applications. The paralegal compiles and analyzes case facts, drafts correspondence, maintains and organizes client documentation, and communicates directly with multiple attorneys. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • 2+ years of employment-based Immigration Paralegal experience required, preferably in a large law firm environment.
  • Knowledge of the NIV processes.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently toward team goals.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems.

  • Experience preferably in a large law firm environment.
