About The Position

Envoy Global is a leader in the global immigration sector, utilizing a tech platform and comprehensive service to simplify and expedite immigration processes. CIP PC, a reputable law firm and affiliate of Envoy Global, Inc., is seeking a Senior Business Immigration Paralegal for its remote workforce. This role is permanent and full-time. The Senior Business Immigration Paralegal will be responsible for analyzing information and documents, preparing immigration petitions and applications for attorney review, and communicating with clients and foreign nationals regarding case processing and status for key accounts. This position requires significant experience in processing both Nonimmigrant Visas (NIVs) and PERM applications.

Requirements

  • 3-4 full years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal, specifically drafting complex matters.
  • Genuine interest in U.S. immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach.
  • Experience working with a high volume of active and inactive cases at any one time.
  • Excellent written + verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of work.
  • Experience communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize caseload.
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt to state-of-the-art Envoy case processing software to monitor and record all visa petitions.
  • Ability to follow due process, templates, and to adapt to evolving innovation within the Firm, and industry.
  • Minimum Intermediate level proficiency with MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word).
  • A friendly, courteous, and respectful demeanor with the ability to work as a member of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Completed bachelor’s degree – highly desirable.
  • Confidence with independent handling a range of NIV cases preferred: H1B, L, TN, O-1 etc.
  • Experience with drafting green card processes (I-140 and AOS), and end-to-end PERM applications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective document intake by reviewing documents for validity and analyzing immigration status.
  • Draft case documents, statutory forms, templated letters of support, and a range of NIVs, including petitions for key accounts/clients.
  • Flag potential case-related issues to the Attorney and/or Senior Case Manager in a timely manner.
  • Swiftly draft responses to requests for evidence.
  • Utilize the online immigration case tracking system to monitor case status and activities daily.
  • Coordinate with Client Support Specialists for case printing, scanning, posting, and service requests.
  • Respond to client communication requests, either directly or through client contact.
  • Prioritize daily workload based on fluctuating client deadlines while maintaining urgency.
  • Flag ideas for process improvement to the appropriate attorney/Case Manager.
  • Assist other team members with case or document preparation as needed.
  • Contribute to positive team morale in a remote work environment.

Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $50,000- $80,000.00
