About The Position
Moore Colson is seeking dynamic, motivated, and self-driven students for an internship opportunity within its Business and Financial Advisory team in Atlanta. This internship, running from May to August 2027, offers hands-on experience in auditing and public accounting. Interns will collaborate closely with experienced audit professionals, gaining exposure to various facets of audit practice and preparing them for a career in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting
- 0–2 years of audit/public accounting experience
- Strong Excel and audit software skills
- Excellent communication and client service mindset
Nice To Haves
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- CCH Pro fx, IDEA a plus
Responsibilities
- Assisting with projects including but not limited to weekly and month-end/year-end close processes, management reporting and preparing reconciliations
- Maintaining fixed assets schedules
- Assisting with system design and implementation/conversion
- Calculating and reporting indirect taxes
- Helping clients prepare cash flow and or financial projections
- Assisting clients with payroll processing and 1099 preparation
- Troubleshooting client issues as they arise
