About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to support the Incident Management team to manage technology and business incidents that impact Merchant Services. This role involves participating in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives. The consultant will identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics, and determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within a defined scope of work. Responsibilities also include reviewing and researching strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations, utilizing independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables, and presenting recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business. The consultant will exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business, and collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management. They will also provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, etc.).
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, Jira and Everbridge.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including networks, databases, cloud services, and common applications
  • Experience with incident management, technology or business incidents, reporting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Drive action items stemming from incidents.
  • Reporting on metrics related to incident management (time to resolve, volume, trends, etc.).
