About The Position

As an integral component of our outbound sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission to help businesses optimize their energy expenditures through strategic consultation and services. This full-time position is based in our modern offices, as this is not a remote job opportunity. The chosen candidate will be expected to engage directly with potential clients, creating a robust pipeline for our services. We cater to a wide array of clients ranging from restaurants and retail stores to offices and small businesses, all of whom could benefit significantly from reduced energy costs.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Exudes a positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping businesses save money.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation preferred, as the role may involve visiting local businesses.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working effectively without constant supervision.
  • Aptitude for comprehending energy tariffs and a knack for conveying complex information in understandable terms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact potential clients to introduce them to our energy solutions and services.
  • Schedule appointments with business owners and decision-makers to discuss their energy needs and how we can offer cost-saving solutions.
  • Maintain an organized system of tracking client communications and follow up on leads diligently.
  • Prepare and present proposals customized to the specific energy needs of each business.
  • Stay informed of changes and trends in the energy market to offer accurate information to clients.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly appointment setting and revenue targets.
  • Represent Horse Energy Solutions professionally at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss successes, challenges, and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including the customer service and operations teams, to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to refine our outreach strategies and tools.
  • Educate business owners on the benefits of comparing rates and switching energy providers through our consultancy services.
