About The Position

Responsible for onboarding commercial and corporate clients to our Membership Advantage program and collaborating with human resource professionals to ensure seamless integration and high levels of employee engagement. This role involves understanding client needs, providing tailored financial solutions, and driving business growth through strategic initiatives. Serves as the company's/organization's ongoing relationship manager once a MA partnership is secured and manages a portfolio of MA companies/organizations. Serves as the primary interface between the National LOB and other LOB RMs relative to the development of new and management of existing MA partnerships. Assists in proposal generation and other communications with customer. Attends and actively participates in One Bank meetings as defined by partnership. Proactively manage lines of communication with other key internal bank partners such as Institutional Services, WAM, Treasury Management, and Mortgage to ensure that key customer relationships are aligned with the appropriate areas of expertise to best serve the customer in the One Bank environment. Independently on boards new companies/organizations to the BOB by proactively calling on Bank prospects/clients within the National LOB. Utilizes the Consultative Sales Process in uncovering employer financial service needs. Develops detailed plans to meet or exceed assigned sales and customer service goals. Responsible for completing all training on schedule including small business sales, prospecting, networking and product knowledge. Calls on and partners with companies/organizations (at the National level and above) in offering the Membership Advantage program to its employees/members.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience that will provide for the presentation of a strong business acumen.
  • Minimum 3 years successful business sales relationship experience
  • Excellent project management and communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation formats- including presentations to large groups and varied audiences.
  • Ability to manage projects utilizing strong prioritization skills, organizational, problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-discipline and self-motivation.
  • Ability to understand retail policies and procedures in order to utilize good judgment in making sound decisions.
  • Ability to present a professional image to the public.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with, influence and present to all levels of employee/management.
  • Minimum three (3) years demonstrated experience and knowledge of networking and prospecting sales techniques.
  • Proven ability to develop/execute strategies to serve multiple customer/client segments across markets.
  • Ability to multi task special responsibilities as well as additional projects; flexibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Workplace banking experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Retail Sales platform systems preferred (ACE) and FNA.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for corporate clients, ensuring a smooth transition into the program.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial and corporate clients and their HR departments by understanding their financial goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to promote banking products and services, such as loans, credit cards, and investment options.
  • Provide financial planning advice to clients based on their specific needs and circumstances.
  • Oversee and manage client portfolios, regularly reviewing account performance, sending monthly reports, and scheduling quarterly touch base meetings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position the bank’s products.
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Partners and collaborates with Business Development Partners and other Lines of Business relative to the development of new and existing clients.
