About The Position

As the fastest-growing distributor of restaurant equipment, HVAC and residential appliance parts, Parts Town is looking for a Business Development Specialist to find, develop, and maintain relationships with Retail Chain Customers. This role involves a high volume of outbound calls, identifying new opportunities, developing sales solutions, closing sales, negotiating pricing, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive, passionate about building partnerships, and enjoys solving customer challenges using the Parts Town value proposition. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an inside sales business development, customer development or account management role.
  • Experience using Excel & Microsoft Office.
  • Passionate about building something new and solving problems.
  • Enjoy meeting new people and have the drive to build long-standing partnerships.
  • Proactive and organized – taking initiative and following through are a must.
  • Resilient – see rejection as an exciting challenge.
  • Fantastic communication skills.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

  • Finding, developing, and maintaining relationships with Retail Chain Customers.
  • Proactively manage day by placing a high volume of outbound calls (40+) to new and existing customers.
  • Identify, cultivate, and build new customer partnerships with Chain Customers in the HVAC space by understanding their problems/needs and utilizing the Parts Town value proposition and solutions to solve them.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of Retail food service and HVAC industry trends and customer needs.
  • Drive revenue by prospecting and building a pipeline while simultaneously fostering personal relationships with potential and existing customers nationwide.
  • Integrate all sales activities into CRM (Salesforce.com) system for timely, accurate reporting.
  • Conduct research on accounts to develop an understanding of their business and where Parts Town can be a solution to their parts needs.
  • Partner with Customer Experience team members to develop and grow customer relationships.
  • Educate customers on Parts Town resources and capabilities (electronic resources, technical support, manufacturer relationships etc.).
