The Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing and executing in-person and virtual business development strategies that align with TFCU’s Member Experience initiatives and goals. This role aims to maintain and enhance TFCU’s visibility and favorable company image by building new relationships in Pima County and surrounding areas, increasing brand recognition, and acquiring new business across all market segments. The specialist will also foster strong relationships with community partners and organizations, raise TFCU's community awareness through events, sponsorships, public speaking, and trade shows, and manage all event-related activities including planning, execution, and social media presence. Key responsibilities include establishing and administering an annual Business Development budget, collaborating with Branch Leaders on annual business development plans and promotional campaigns, and tracking the efficacy and return on investment of these strategies through regular reporting. The position also requires adherence to state and federal banking regulations, annual compliance training, and maintaining member and TFCU privacy and confidentiality.
