About The Position

Festo Didactic is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to the training and development of industrial customers. We are looking for a skilled Business Development and Sales professional to join our team and drive growth through strategic initiatives and exceptional support. The Business Development and Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, while also providing comprehensive support to both our internal sales team and our external channel partners. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the consultative sales process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, sales support, or a related role—preferably with responsibility for training products or services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets driving revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM software (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor messages fir technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in training delivery, sales, or learning and development is a plus.
  • Prior sales experience in industrial, service (as a sale), manufacturing, automation, or technical markets is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior management to create and implement strategic plans.
  • Assist the sales team with lead generation, qualification, and follow-up.
  • Draft proposals for training and quotations for training equipment hardware sales.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal and client meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients with the Head of Industrial Workforce Development.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the team to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop actionable insights to optimize sales processes and strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development efforts.
