About The Position

Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair provider specializing in small repairs to floors, countertops, tubs, cabinets, furniture, and other surfaces. The Business Development / Sales Representative conducts primarily in-field sales in San Diego North County, with minimal remote administrative work. The company provides quality leads, software and routing tools, administrative support, training, and ongoing coaching. No prior industry, degree, or formal sales experience is required; the company will train candidates who demonstrate the desired attributes.

The role offers autonomy to set routes and schedules while working full-time during business hours, with no nights or weekends. A typical day includes planning a route, making approximately 15 onsite visits, booking work, recording notes and metrics in company software, coordinating with the team, and completing light administrative work and preparation from home. The representative also participates in weekly sales coaching and ongoing support.

Requirements

• Be coachable, eager to learn, open to feedback, responsible for results, and willing to follow a proven sales playbook.
• Be curious, comfortable asking questions, and focused on understanding customers’ needs.
• Be detail-oriented and consistently complete routing, metric documentation, and customer follow-ups.
• No prior industry experience, degree, or formal sales experience is required.

Responsibilities
