About The Position

Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair provider that repairs damage to floors, countertops, tubs, cabinets, furniture, and other surfaces. The Business Development / Sales Representative will conduct mostly in-field sales in San Diego North County, with minimal remote administrative work. The role offers autonomy to set a route and schedule, quality leads, sales tools, administrative support, and training. No prior industry, degree, or formal sales experience is required; the company will train candidates who demonstrate coachability, curiosity, and attention to detail.

A typical day includes mapping a route, making approximately 15 on-site visits, booking work, logging notes and metrics in company software, coordinating with the team, and completing light preparation and administrative work from home. The representative also participates in weekly sales coaching and ongoing individual and peer-group support.

Requirements

• Demonstrate coachability, eagerness to learn, openness to feedback, accountability for results, and willingness to follow a proven sales playbook.
• Be curious and comfortable asking questions to understand and serve customers.
• Be detail-oriented and consistently complete routing, metric documentation, and customer follow-ups.

Responsibilities
