About The Position

The Marketing Representative is responsible for the overall marketing and promotion of River Point’s programs and services while maximizing referral potentials from assigned referral accounts, and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the Strategic Marketing Plan. The territory for this position serves the Greater Jacksonville, FL Area, and possibly other Northern Florida locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Area, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development, healthcare marketing and sales, contract management environment with measurable business development results, pharmaceutical/medical sales.
  • Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Excellent telephone and people skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in the past (3) years.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
  • A licensed social worker or RN.

Responsibilities

  • Overall marketing and promotion of River Point’s programs and services.
  • Maximizing referral potentials from assigned referral accounts.
  • Developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the Strategic Marketing Plan.
  • Developing and maintaining referral resources and educating them of the services provided within River Point.
  • Motivating and communicating well with people in crisis and to overcome objections/denial.
  • Communicating effectively and diplomatically with other departments, and with clients.
