About The Position

CEI Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a relationship-driven, strategic Regional Business Development Representative to lead growth across multiple sectors in Northwest Arkansas. As a national civil engineering firm with deep roots in the region, CEI has a reputation for delivering creative, community-centered solutions. In this role, the representative will be the face of CEI in the region, cultivating relationships, supporting sector leaders, and driving strategies to position CEI as the partner of choice for Private Commercial and Public Sector markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on community engagement and is ready to help shape CEI's future growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development experience specifically within the civil engineering, land development, or municipal infrastructure sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Confident public speaking.
  • Proven track record in pipeline development.
  • Experience managing and tracking opportunities through a CRM platform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel regionally for meetings and events.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities across Private Commercial (Retail, Fueling & Convenience, Residential) and Public Sector markets (Outdoor Recreation, Municipal Transportation, Sports Field Engineering).
  • Develop long-term, strategic partnerships with municipal officials, developers, consultants, contractors, and decision-makers.
  • Participate in industry organizations, conferences, and trade shows to elevate CEI's brand.
  • Partner with sector leaders, project managers, and marketing staff to position CEI for upcoming pursuits.
  • Support proposal development and ensure client expectations align with CEI's deliverables.
  • Track opportunities, manage client interactions, and monitor pipeline performance using a CRM system (Deltek Vantagepoint/Salesforce).
  • Provide regular market insights and competitor analysis to leadership.
