About The Position

Alvéole is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their Sales team and help drive Alvéole's growth across North America. The role involves generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, engaging potential clients, and creating a qualified pipeline for the Account Executive team. The BDR will work closely with an experienced sales team and receive direct support from one of Alvéole's co-founders. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales, offering hands-on coaching, mentorship, and training while contributing to organizations' sustainability goals through Alvéole's biodiversity and engagement programs. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of experience in a customer-facing role (sales, customer success, hospitality, retail, fundraising, recruiting, or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence and resilience when engaging with new people and building relationships
  • A proactive, curious, and coachable mindset
  • A get-it-done attitude: where there is a will, there is a way, and we love working with people who make things happen!
  • Ability to represent Alvéole's mission, products, and value proposition with authenticity and enthusiasm
  • A strong interest in building a long-term career in sales
  • A goal-oriented approach and motivation to achieve ambitious targets
  • Comfort using technology and learning new tools quickly
  • Fluency in English

Nice To Haves

  • French language skills are considered a strong asset
  • Previous experience in B2B sales or business development through an internship, co-op, or full-time role
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales prospecting tools
  • Familiarity with tools such as Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms
  • Experience working in sustainability, technology, or commercial real estate environments

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and other outreach channels
  • Generate interest in Alvéole's products and services and qualify potential clients
  • Schedule meetings and create opportunities for the Account Executive team
  • Research and identify prospective customers that fit our ideal customer profile
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity data in a CRM platform
  • Consistently achieve and exceed outreach and pipeline generation targets
  • Collaborate with teammates and sales leadership to refine prospecting strategies
  • Continuously develop your sales skills, product knowledge, and market understanding
