About The Position

Atlar is seeking self-motivated Business Development Representatives (BDRs) with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling to accelerate their growth. BDRs are the foundation of Atlar's go-to-market strategy and play a significant role in the company's DNA. The ideal candidates will be eager to learn, embrace challenges, and be passionate about succeeding. BDRs will act as the initial point of contact, responsible for hunting and qualifying leads to build sales opportunities for continued growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent listening skills and energetic phone presence
  • High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis
  • Deep interest in understanding business challenges
  • Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with customer-facing and/or sales roles
  • Prior CRM experience (preferably Hubspot)
  • Experience with financial services
  • Experience at a high-growth startup

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound outreach
  • Qualify prospects through consultative selling while leveraging MEDDICC criteria
  • Grow top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns
  • Research companies and add prospects to our outbound list
  • Collaborate and provide feedback and insights to marketing and product to help shape product development as well as improve targeting and messaging
