Blue Yonder is seeking a Business Development Representative to support our retail vertical. This role involves using prospecting strategies for initial outreach to prospects and building relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts. The representative will collect and analyze potential customer's critical business needs and challenges, identify and qualify their budget, timelines, business pain points, and obstacles for handoff to the appropriate sales individual. They will also participate in sales opportunity reviews and collaborate with Account Managers and internal stakeholders. The goal is to achieve quarterly lead generation and pipeline goals set by management. This role requires qualifying and validating inbound and outbound leads via phone, web, email, corporate events, and direct mail campaigns, while tracking relevant sales activities to maintain communications within sales. The representative will use their professional experience to overcome objections and effectively communicate Blue Yonder’s value propositions to key decision makers within target accounts. Active participation in innovating new techniques and strategies for marketing Blue Yonder’s products to secure new accounts is also expected.
