Business Development Representative - Restoration Industry

Lightspeed Restoration of the Main Line•Philadelphia, PA
•$65,000 - $150,000•Onsite

About The Position

Lightspeed Restoration of the Main Line is a locally owned and operated restoration company serving the greater Philadelphia area. We specialize in water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage restoration, and indoor air quality services. We're building our business on a simple philosophy: do great work, treat people right, and build relationships that last. As we continue to expand throughout Philadelphia, the Main Line, and surrounding communities, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help us grow our network of referral partners, develop new business opportunities, and become the restoration company that local professionals trust and recommend. We're looking for someone who knows how to build relationships, open doors, and turn connections into long-term business opportunities. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven sales position - not a desk job or a role where you'll be waiting for leads to come to you. You'll work directly with ownership to develop strategic partnerships with plumbers, property managers, insurance professionals, contractors, commercial property owners, and other professionals who regularly encounter water damage, mold, and property restoration needs. You'll have the freedom to manage your territory, develop your own approach, and play a meaningful role in the growth of our company. We're particularly interested in candidates who already have relationships in the restoration, property management, insurance, plumbing, or construction industries and can hit the ground running.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales, account management, or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated success building professional relationships and generating new business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation until eligible for a company vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in property restoration, construction, plumbing, HVAC, insurance, or property management.
  • An established network of professional relationships throughout Philadelphia and the Main Line.
  • Experience developing referral relationships or commercial service accounts.
  • Familiarity with emergency restoration services, water mitigation, or the property insurance claims process.
  • An existing book of relevant professional relationships is a significant advantage.
  • While restoration experience is preferred, we're equally interested in someone with a strong record of building relationships and generating business in a related industry.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing referral partners throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
  • Build relationships with plumbers, insurance agents, property managers, real estate professionals, contractors, and commercial facility managers.
  • Prospect for new commercial accounts, including apartment communities, office buildings, HOAs, senior living facilities, and other managed properties.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, lunch-and-learns, and networking events.
  • Establish Lightspeed Restoration as a trusted, go-to resource for emergency restoration services.
  • Maintain regular communication with referral partners and ensure they receive exceptional service.
  • Collaborate closely with our operations team to deliver a seamless experience for customers.
  • Track sales activities, relationships, and opportunities using our CRM.
  • Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
