About The Position

Our Waterloo office is looking for a Business Development Representative. Working directly with the sales team and be expected to have a critical impact on the organization and revenue by contacting assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company products within a designated geography or industry. Focus on meeting personal sales targets, developing new business, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Have solid knowledge of products, their characteristics, and the market. Typically requires excellent interpersonal skills and sales experience. Be part of the dynamic culture! Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Creating sales pipeline using demand generation and prospecting tools Generating business opportunities through professional networking and cold outreach Finding new opportunities and creating strong relationships with target accounts Exploring and identifying new opportunities in new accounts and/or buying centers Researching and presenting business intelligence about customers and prospects Identifying influencers and key decision-makers within accounts

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales or sales development role
