Business Development Representative

Celigo
$45,000 - $55,000Remote

About The Position

Integration meets Innovation. At Celigo, we believe integration should empower — not exhaust — innovation. As a modern Integration and Automation Platform (iPaaS), we’re on a mission to simplify how companies integrate, automate, and optimize processes. Powered by game-changing technology like runtime AI and prebuilt, mission-critical integrations, Celigo is redefining how businesses connect their world. We’re building a new outbound team from the ground up, and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who wants to be part of something they helped build. You’ll be one of the first hires on a restructured outbound team — with clear targets, strong tooling, and direct access to leadership. This is a phone-first, metrics-driven role. You’ll be expected to run high-volume outbound activity every day — calls, emails, and LinkedIn — and convert that effort into qualified meetings and Stage 1 pipeline. If you want a clear bar, coaching, and room to grow fast, this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to craft compelling outreach messages and engage executives confidently.
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound channels and meet or exceed targets.
  • Comfortable with high-volume phone outreach — this is a call-heavy role and you need to embrace that, not just tolerate it.
  • Coachable and self-aware — you actively seek feedback, implement it quickly, and view 1:1s as an opportunity to get better, not a check-in to survive.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle rejection professionally
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to research, identify, and pursue high-value opportunities.
  • Team-oriented with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to Celigo’s success.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or outbound prospecting.
  • SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with the tools we use: Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Hands-on experience with Outreach sequences is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting efforts within an assigned geographic territory.
  • Research, identify, and engage with target accounts across the US.
  • Hit daily activity targets: 50 outbound calls, 40 emails, and 15 LinkedIn touches. Calls are made both inside and outside of Outreach sequences — we need someone who prospects proactively, not just when the task queue says to.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Line of Business leaders, IT professionals, and C-level executives, to uncover integration and automation initiatives.
  • Leverage market insights and ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) criteria to prioritize accounts and tailor messaging for maximum impact.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to align outbound efforts with broader go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
  • Use personalized, account-based outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn to cut through the noise and earn conversations with LoB leaders, IT, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Track activity accurately in Salesforce and Gong. Coachability matters here — weekly 1:1s are focused on your numbers, your calls, and your growth. You’ll be expected to implement feedback quickly and come prepared.

Benefits

  • Three weeks of vacation (starting year one)
  • Wellness days and holidays to recharge
  • Parental leave
  • Generous benefits package
  • Monthly tech stipend
  • Recognition and career development opportunities
