About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to help grow our business across Canada. This role is ideal for a bilingual sales professional who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and creating new business opportunities. You will play a critical role in identifying prospective customers, generating qualified sales opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of our organization.

Requirements

Fluent in English and French.
2-5 years of business development, sales development, lead generation, or related B2B sales experience.
Experience with cold calling, cold email outreach, and prospecting.
Proven ability to generate and qualify leads.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Generate new leads across Canada to increase company’s new business pipeline and potentialize sales success.
Active prospecting through cold calls, cold emails etc.
Responsible communication while contacting potential customers and introducing SSI Schaefer and our solutions.
Build credibility and trust across all customer contacts.
Uncover business initiatives and future investments in intralogistics.
Create, monitor, and revise lead generation action plans to generate the required sales opportunity pipeline to meet sales targets.
Generate leads and qualify leads.
Document prospect information and details in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Develop prospecting reports.
Fulfill assigned tasks & complete projects as directed by your superior.
Customer/leads visits.
All other duties as assigned.
