This is a prospecting role where you will spend most of your day on the phone and in your inbox, reaching out to businesses that ship freight to convince them to take a meeting. Success in this role requires drive, strong communication, and the ability to push through rejection without losing momentum. No prior freight experience is required. The goal is to book qualified meetings for the sales team through daily outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn, qualifying leads, identifying businesses with shipping needs, booking meetings for Business Development Managers, tracking pipeline in the CRM, and consistently hitting daily and weekly activity targets. Learning the BlueShip platform and how to position freight technology as a solution is also part of the role. This role is built for competitive individuals who are not derailed by rejection, are coachable, communicate clearly, and prefer an in-office environment with high energy and collaboration.
