Ridgeview Institute is looking for a highly skilled Business Development Representative. This role is responsible for maximizing referral potentials from assigned accounts and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business development systems. The position ensures the establishment of community relationships in the field. The Business Development Representative will develop new accounts and markets in the employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/Licensed Practitioners, and managed care segments, as directed by the Director of Business Development. A designated number of qualified business development contacts will be developed per week to achieve overall business development goals and objectives. An account management list will be developed to maintain current account information and update as required. The role involves active participation with established community relationships in problem-solving and working with facility staff to assure issues are resolved during a patient's stay and upon discharge. Contact with primary accounts will be made through personal visits, telephone calls, and letters/mailers on an ongoing basis, developing and encouraging a relationship of trust with all active accounts. Referrals and admissions will be monitored, and an appropriate strategy will be planned to maximize referral potential. The representative will maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement.
