About The Position

This is a critical role for a driven, proactive, and strategic sales professional eager to create meaningful engagement with the private club industry. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Jonas Club, you will be the first touchpoint in our customer journey, focused on generating qualified opportunities that support our growth and reinforce our position as the most trusted partner for private clubs. You will own the outreach to ideal club prospects, fostering conversations with industry leaders who are seeking to modernize their operations and member experience. Through outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and cross-functional collaboration, you will help drive the health and velocity of our sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a Business Development, Sales Development, or related outbound sales role (experience in SaaS, hospitality, or club industries is a plus).
  • Proven ability to engage senior-level stakeholders through phone, email, social, and video outreach.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions.
  • Experience using sales enablement tools (Salesforce, SalesLoft/Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to drive prospecting efforts.
  • A growth mindset with a passion for learning, improving, and driving results.
  • High degree of self-motivation, accountability, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity about the private club industry and the unique challenges facing club operators today.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first line of engagement with prospective private club clients, introducing Jonas Club’s value through strategic, multi-channel outreach.
  • Build and manage a dynamic pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound inquiry follow-up, and industry event support.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers and influencers at private clubs, including General Managers, Controllers, HR/Payroll Leaders, Membership Directors, Golf and Tennis Pros, and F&B Managers.
  • Conduct thoughtful, discovery-led conversations to uncover prospect needs, timelines, and operational challenges.
  • Qualify prospects based on Jonas Club’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and document critical insights, next steps, and actions in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Secure and schedule qualified meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring each meeting advances the sales process and meets internal quality standards.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to align outbound strategies and maximize opportunity conversion.
  • Leverage sales technology platforms, including Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to execute targeted campaigns and track performance.
  • Support demand generation programs, virtual events, and industry conferences to increase Jonas Club’s presence and engagement in key markets.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets (goal: 60 qualified meetings per month / 720 annually), with a focus on quality and revenue potential.
  • Act as an ambassador of Jonas Club’s mission, ensuring every prospect interaction reflects our commitment to customer success and industry leadership.
  • Provide feedback on prospect trends, messaging effectiveness, and market insights to inform go-to-market strategies.
