About The Position

Join Our Team as a Business Development Officer! Are you an experienced professional in banking with a passion for building strong client relationships? Our Littleton team is seeking a skilled Business Development Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our portfolio.

Requirements

  • Strong ethical values and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Must have at least 1-3 years in sales, customer service, relationship management, or a preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Basic understanding of banking products and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet lending targets.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools, credit scoring models, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with lending regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
  • Attend networking events and meetings with and without senior team members to build industry contacts, with the goal of establishing new relationship (consumer and business) opportunities for the Bank.
  • Gather and analyze data on market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Support the branch team in reaching out to potential clients.
  • Prepare and assist in the delivery of presentations to prospective clients.
  • Participate in meetings and follow up on client inquiries under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Help promote the bank’s products and services to new and existing clients.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials and content for client presentations.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the bank’s products and services.
  • Assist in the achievement of team sales targets by supporting the sales process.
  • Help track and monitor sales activities and results.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
