About The Position

A successful Vista Business Development Officer (Sales Representative) builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, actively recruits new clients, and grows revenue opportunities through professional networking, industry engagement, and sales outreach. They acquire and maintain customers through the introduction and efficient use of Vista’s products and services while acting as a liaison between sales, operations, and customers. This role plays a critical part in increasing Vista’s market share, brand presence, and client retention while embodying Vista’s mission of providing unparalleled customer experience.

  • Maintain vehicle in a clean, professional, and working condition
  • Maintain valid registration and full-coverage auto insurance that satisfies at least the state minimum requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Persuasive selling skills sufficient to influence sales generation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client and business locations
  • Experience in the real estate, mortgage, or title and escrow industry strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Vista products and services, as well as competitors’ offerings
  • Develop leads and sales opportunities, following through with a defined sales plan
  • Schedule and present in broker sales meetings and bank/lender meetings, setting measurable goals for frequency and follow-up
  • Represent Vista at industry association events, encouraging cross-departmental participation
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and marketing materials tailored to client needs
  • Provide training sessions for new agents and loan officers
  • Train clients on Vista’s tools (TitleCapture, Earnnest, Qualia, company website, etc.)
  • Maintain current client relationships, leveraging them for referrals and expansion of client base
  • Report business development and sales activity as required by Sales Manager or leadership
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading industry publications, and maintaining professional networks
  • Provide an unparalleled customer service experience
  • Satisfy expense reporting requirements according to company policies
  • Manage company credit card according to company policies
  • Collaborate with Marketing to identify campaigns designed to increase market share
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline within the CRM, ensuring activity is tracked, analyzed, and reported regularly
  • Actively contribute to quarterly planning sessions and sales team meetings by sharing market insights and customer feedback
  • Work closely with escrow and title staff to ensure client needs are being met and to proactively resolve issues impacting customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional Vista services and tools to maximize client value
  • Participate in community events and sponsorship opportunities to increase brand visibility
  • Other duties as assigned
