In this role, you will help tell the story of a growing cardiovascular practice, strengthen relationships with referring providers and community partners, support meaningful outreach, and contribute directly to improved access to heart care in our region. The Business Development and Marketing Liaison serves as a key ambassador for High Desert Heart & Vascular (HDHV), supporting growth, visibility, physician relations, community engagement, marketing coordination, brand stewardship, vendor management, event planning, and executive reporting. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position works closely with physicians, leadership, healthcare partners, insurance payors, employers, vendors, and community stakeholders to strengthen HDHV's reputation and expand appropriate referral opportunities. This role combines relationship-building, business development, community outreach, and hands-on marketing execution to promote the HDHV brand and enhance timely access to high-quality cardiovascular care. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in business development, healthcare marketing, physician relations, community outreach, communications, or a related field.
  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship management and business development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to interpret satisfaction and marketing data and translate results into clear, executive-ready reports and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple vendors, campaigns, events, deadlines, and deliverables with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals, insurance payors, employers, and community organizations.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between HDHV and external stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and increase referral opportunities.
  • Identify and develop strategic business opportunities that support organizational growth and market expansion.
  • Support the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives aligned with HDHV strategic goals.
  • Create and coordinate marketing content across websites, social media, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate and participate in health fairs, educational seminars, corporate wellness events, and physician outreach programs.
  • Track and report outreach activities, referral growth, marketing effectiveness, and community engagement metrics.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and business development updates for executive leadership.
  • Lead and support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
  • Travel locally and regionally to support outreach and relationship-building efforts.
  • Prepare and coordinate business development, marketing, patient satisfaction, and other assigned updates for presentation to the Board and leadership team.
  • Support the collection, organization, analysis, and reporting of patient satisfaction results, trends, and improvement opportunities for leadership review.
  • Maintain, design, source, and order company-branded supplies and promotional merchandise, including pens, drinkware such as YETI products, apparel, signage, and event materials; monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support community events, outreach activities, employee events, holiday parties, and other organizational functions, including timelines, vendors, supplies, communications, and on-site logistics.
  • Ensure marketing and promotional materials consistently reflect approved HDHV branding, messaging, and visual standards.
  • Develop, update, and coordinate production of marketing materials, including brochures, referral resources, presentations, advertisements, signage, event materials, and patient-facing communications.
  • Lead and coordinate HDHV branding initiatives across direct mail, billboards, television, photography and video shoots, digital channels, and other advertising platforms.
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, account setup, renewals, ordering, and routine communication to support timely delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain accurate vendor contact information, key points of contact, account credentials, and authorized access for marketing, media, promotional, and business-development vendors.
