About The Position

The Business Development and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting all sales, preconstruction, and marketing efforts. They will work closely with the Head of Business Development and others to usher prospects and clients through the sales funnel while always using the company's core values as a lens. They will deploy company proven processes when interacting with clients and will also support marketing efforts under the direction of the Head of Business Development.

Requirements

  • Strong professional communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Strong interest in the construction industry
  • Ability to qualify and disqualify prospects using a lens of core values and communicate effectively to protect the brand
  • Ability to lead and control interactions
  • Eye for brand synergy and basic understanding and design to learn basic graphic design tools (i.e. Canva)
  • Comfortable and proficient in Microsoft Suite and HubSpot
  • Go-getter attitude to take on additional initiatives outside of typical day to day activities
  • Aptitude to write Feasibility Agreements concisely and accurately (training provided)
  • Ability to follow company proven processes and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fluid environment
  • Ability to prioritize and execute quickly with a strong sense of right and wrong

Responsibilities

  • Lead Intake & Client Communication: Screen all incoming client inquiries to determine fit for project (website requests, phone calls, referrals, etc.). Enter pertinent data in CRM. Continued proactive client follow up to keep leads warm. Support client communication throughout the preconstruction process. Independently prep for meetings and proactively follow up with clients.
  • Document Creation: Help draft client-facing proposals with a professional written voice. Create Feasibility Agreements, scope summaries and design agreements. Update the scorecards weekly & data entry for KPIs. File maintenance and folder creation on server. Contract coordination and maintenance.
  • Calendar Management and Administrative Support: Schedule first client meetings for Project Advisors and other support as needed
  • Reporting: Regularly reporting for all business development and marketing KPIs (monthly or more frequently) to influence required marketing efforts.
  • Website management: Coordinate website maintenance and content through Hubspot. Partner with outside vendors to approve social media posts and marketing campaigns. Direct mailing campaigns (email and physical).
  • Marketing: Independently execute elements of annual marketing plan. Partner with marketing team to create annual budget and plan. Manage external resources and vendors.
