  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck, trailer, aftermarket parts, or transportation industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales leadership or team management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales and gross profit goals.
  • Experience managing large territories and strategic customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience utilizing CRM and sales management tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% within the assigned territory.
  • Overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move office equipment and materials.
  • Ability to travel regularly by automobile and/or air as required.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop Business Development Reps to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, goals, and accountability measures for team members.
  • Conduct regular coaching, ride-alongs, performance reviews, and developmental training.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and operational excellence.
  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase market share and profitability.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within assigned markets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer buying patterns, and pricing strategies.
  • Drive customer acquisition while expanding FleetPride's presence with existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership and support teams to maximize customer satisfaction and business results.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to expand sales across FleetPride's product and service offerings.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and develop action plans to increase customer penetration.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Partner with customers to understand business needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Utilize CRM, sales analytics, and reporting tools to manage sales activities and measure performance
  • Develop and monitor customer call plans and sales activity metrics.
  • Review sales reports, gross profit performance, account growth, and pipeline development.
  • Monitor customer payment trends and partner with internal teams to address collection concerns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Submit call reports, sales forecasts, expense reports, and other required documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain awareness of product offerings, pricing updates, vendor programs, and market developments.
  • Provide monthly updates regarding sales performance, competitive intelligence, and growth opportunities.
