About The Position

Our client is an international, family-owned industrial group specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-performance connectivity solutions, including connectors, flat cables, ultra-modular systems, and human-machine interfaces. Its solutions are used in highly demanding environments where reliability is critical, such as aerospace, defense, space, and selected industrial applications. With an established U.S. presence and local engineering and manufacturing capabilities, the company is entering a new phase of commercial and industrial development. As part of its growth strategy, our client is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager – Southwest USA to strengthen its commercial presence and accelerate business development across the region. The position is based in Texas, covering Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and selected Southwest U.S. markets, with regular travel throughout the territory.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales or business development, ideally within aerospace, defense, electronics, connectivity solutions, or other high-technology industrial sectors.
  • Degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical/electronic, electromechanical, aerospace, or related fields), or equivalent technical expertise through professional experience.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Based in Texas or willing to relocate.
  • Available for regular travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the company's commercial presence across the assigned territory, combining business development and technical-commercial support.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, particularly within aerospace, defense, space, and selected industrial segments.
  • Create and develop a client portfolio, building long-term, high-value relationships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and early technical discussions through contract negotiation and project follow-up.
  • Act as a technical-commercial interface for customers, understanding their operational constraints and application requirements.
  • Provide first-level technical support and help identify appropriate solutions.
  • Work closely with the company's Engineering, R&D, and Production teams in the U.S. and France to coordinate technical exchanges and ensure effective project follow-up.
  • Represent the company during customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.
