Requirements

  • Experience in new business acquisition, preferably in the SaaS (software-as-a-service) space, managing the full sales cycle.
  • Self-motivation and resilience to show up each day and give your best.
  • Growth mindset - openness to feedback and coaching.
  • Good level of English.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry background is a big plus (hotel tech, OTA, revenue management).

Responsibilities

  • Close new business.
  • Plan and prioritize business development activities to achieve company revenue goals and sales targets for defined regions.
  • Develop and implement innovative commercial strategies to maximize results and reach challenging targets.
  • Leverage existing industry contacts to increase SiteMinder’s client base and brand coverage in the assigned territory.
  • Create new opportunities and upsell current customers, managing the full sales cycle from outreach to demo and closing.
  • Work towards daily, weekly, and monthly targets and finalize all sales in a timely manner.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and develop and present proposals to clients in a professional and self-assured manner.
  • Negotiate contracts, maintaining a balance between optimal service and value for the client and SiteMinder's profit margins.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities on SiteMinder's CRM system.
  • Provide client feedback on products to the Product Team.
  • Work with local industry groups and travel associations to promote SiteMinder’s products and brand.
  • Attend key functions and events, requiring occasional travel to client locations to attend meetings with relevant managers.
