About The Position

Actionstep UK is experiencing rapid growth in the legal practice management software space, targeting 100x growth by 2030. We are seeking a highly-focused, strategic, resourceful, and entrepreneurial individual to join our team. This role offers genuine autonomy, a specialist market to develop, and significant earning potential. You will own the outbound engine that fuels Actionstep UK's next phase of growth, building the pipeline that Account Executives convert into revenue. Requirements

  • Proven track record of building high-quality outbound pipeline in B2B SaaS, focusing on generating deals that close rather than just activity metrics.
  • Genuine knowledge of and curiosity about the legal sector, understanding how law firms buy and what drives their decisions.
  • Commercial instinct to quickly assess and act decisively on whether a prospect is worth pursuing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to earn credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with Salesforce and Outreach.io, or equivalent tools, with a proven ability to ramp up quickly.
  • Organized and self-motivated, able to own results without close management.

  • Experience selling into UK law firms or professional services.
  • An existing network in the UK legal market.
  • Experience setting up an outbound function or sales playbook from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Own the outbound pipeline, generating £2M+ of qualified pipeline annually through targeted outreach, events, referrals, networking, and partnerships across the UK legal market.
  • Build the outbound playbook for Actionstep UK, defining and documenting processes, testing what works, and refining them over time.
  • Identify and qualify prospects against Actionstep's ideal customer profile to ensure Account Executives receive genuinely closeable opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Executives, ensuring clean handoffs with full context and staying close to deal outcomes to continuously improve lead quality.
  • Build a deep network across UK law firms and represent Actionstep at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Track pipeline metrics, analyze performance, and provide clear recommendations to the Sales Director.
