About The Position

Steadily is hiring a Business Development Manager in the Kansas City Metro area who is the very best at what they do. We’re rapidly expanding our Independent Agency channel and are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to help us take it to the next level. In this role, you’ll identify, engage, and onboard new independent partners—driving growth and strengthening our dynamic IA network. We are looking for gifted trainers with experience presenting to large groups. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Overland Park, KS.

Requirements

  • Gifted salesperson with strong presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of the independent agency ecosystem
  • Strong P&C insurance background and comfortable discussing specific underwriting guidelines and principles
  • Extremely tech savvy and know how to leverage data and technology to your advantage
  • Ability to handle important responsibilities and assignments with limited oversight
  • Willingness to work as hard as it takes to get the job done

Responsibilities

  • Expand Steadily’s network of independent agency partners through inbound lead handling and outbound prospecting
  • Interview and screen potential agency partners to ensure Steadily’s standards for quality are met and exceeded
  • Drive strong agent productivity by establishing strong agency relationships and setting clear expectations upfront
  • Support the growth of our agency footprint through strategic outreach in target markets
  • Collaborate effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams to define needs and determine priorities
