The Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of sales and account strategies that contribute to organizational growth and align with corporate objectives; building and maintaining relationships with key contacts; assisting in sales planning and market positioning efforts; collaborating with cross-functional teams to help expand market presence; preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders; participating in negotiations and supporting the execution of agreements; maintaining CRM data accuracy and using analytics to provide insights for forecasting; and sharing knowledge with peers to promote team effectiveness. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive strategic plans for the assigned region to achieve revenue and growth targets, driving ownership strategies for key accounts, and establishing high-level business relationships with various industry stakeholders. The manager will independently manage and grow the regional area pipeline, monitor regional KPIs, and work closely with internal teams. They will also provide guidance to junior team members, represent the organization at industry events, conduct sales calls, and deliver presentations. Travel up to 50% is required to engage with customers, attend industry events, and support regional initiatives.
