About The Position

SERVPRO Team McCabe is hiring a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead our sales division and expand our market footprint. This is a "player-coach" role where you will define our strategic vision, manage departmental budgets, oversee our client database, and cultivate lucrative relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs). This role is ideal for a natural leader who loves taking ownership, closing new business, and wants to make a tangible impact by helping our community make fire and water damage "Like it never even happened,"®.

Requirements

5+ years of progressive, direct B2B sales, business development, or marketing experience with a proven track record of revenue growth.
Minimum of 1 year of management experience building, training, and managing a strong team with tangible, results-driven leadership skills.
Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to build rapport quickly in high-stakes or challenging situations.
Solid planning capabilities with high attention to detail regarding territory planning, budget management, and CRM database oversight.
Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects as needed on job sites or at event setups.
Ability to comfortably and safely work with or around cleaning agents.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the cleaning, restoration, or insurance industry is highly preferred.
Active involvement in professional sales or industry associations is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive quarterly and annual department initiatives, marketing plans, and operational budgets based on franchise growth objectives.
Define clear, trackable goals for revenue, collections, and daily sales activities.
Perform comparative analyses of historical data, projected revenues, and activity metrics against established goals to ensure profitability targets are met.
Recruit, hire, thoroughly onboard, and manage high-performing sales and marketing teammates.
Establish KPIs and hold the team accountable to their goals through rigorous monitoring of daily activities and process-driven leadership.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, field ride-alongs, and one-on-one coaching sessions to elevate closing rates and relationship-building skills.
Actively prospect, pursue, and close new business to directly increase company sales revenue and develop long-standing relationships with key decision-makers.
Maintain an active presence at local and regional associations, trade shows, and networking events to penetrate target markets.
Complete annual marketing needs assessments and execute high-impact local events, including planning the budget and schedule for Continuing Education (CE) classes and lunch-and-learns.
Manage and elevate the overall customer experience, ensuring our brand reputation remains pristine.
Understand and communicate the competitive advantages of using SERVPRO, effectively educating clients on brand benefits.
Act as the highest point of contact for client relations, successfully resolving any escalated customer complaints or operational friction points.
