The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth at WFS by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and developing strategies to expand market presence. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to foster long-term partnerships to achieve revenue growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred (or a related field).
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new leads through networking, cold calling, data analytics, referrals, and other prospecting methods.
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitches and WFS’s value proposition to secure new clients or partnerships.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of potential opportunities to support sustained growth.
  • Negotiate and close opportunities that will drive revenue and profitability.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Prepare present sales proposals to prospective clients, which can include panel reviews
  • Track and report on business development activities and performance metrics
