This one gives you the opportunity to help shape one. eShepherd is expanding in the United States, and we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can combine commercial drive with genuine credibility in agriculture. You'll work directly with ranchers, producers, partners and industry stakeholders, identifying opportunities, building relationships and turning customer challenges into commercial growth. This is a senior, hands-on role. You'll own opportunities from prospecting and first conversation through solution positioning, negotiation and close, while playing an important part in how eShepherd grows across the US. You'll enjoy a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary between $105,000 and $120,000 a 20% annual bonus opportunity! Requirements

Proven business development or key account experience within a solution-selling environment.
A demonstrated ability to identify prospects and convert opportunities into closed sales.
Experience working with ranchers and/or personal experience within agriculture.
Knowledge of AgTech solutions.
An interest in or understanding of beef cattle and grazing management.
Strong commercial judgement, communication and negotiation skills.
The ability to work autonomously and maintain momentum across multiple opportunities.
Experience within a high-growth or scale-up environment.
The ability to think strategically and then turn that thinking into action.

Responsibilities

Identifying and strategically targeting new business opportunities.
Taking ownership of the sales journey from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close.
Building trusted relationships with ranchers, producers, partners, distributors and industry stakeholders.
Understanding how individual ranching operations work and positioning eShepherd around their commercial and operational needs.
Developing opportunities through networking, prospecting, industry engagement and strong follow-up.
Leading or supporting key account opportunities, tenders, contracts and distribution agreements.
Maintaining strong CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and accurate sales forecasting.
Working closely with Customer Success to support a seamless transition from sale to onboarding and ongoing customer success.
Bringing market intelligence, customer feedback, pricing insights and competitor activity back into Sales, Product and Marketing.
Helping build the eShepherd and Gallagher brands through industry relationships, partnerships and speaking opportunities.
