About The Position

STRUCTURAL integrates technology-driven solutions with specialty contracting services to improve, protect, and enhance the existing infrastructure of owners directly, and in partnership with designers and contractors. STRUCTURAL offers a wide range of specialty repair and maintenance services and is the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States, with roughly 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets. STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group. We’re seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to support our St Petersburg office and drive new ventures in the Southeast Region. STRUCTURAL's projects within the commercial market include but are not limited to: structural strengthening, structural concrete repair, waterproofing, repurposing projects and corrosion control.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of P2P sales experience in construction, engineering, or specialty services in the commercial and public market.
  • Deep roots in the Southeastern commercial / public markets — you know the landscape, the key players, and how to reach them.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals and closing large, complex deals.
  • Organized self-starter that can work within teams to drive results.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization.
  • CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred) and a structured, data-driven approach to sales.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationships that lead to new opportunities and closed deals with owners, engineers, and contractors to grow STRUCTURAL’s regional footprint.
  • Lead every phase of the process—from relationship building, pitch, through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Shape and execute the vision for sales for Central and North Florida, aligning efforts with company-wide goals while driving revenue and market share.
  • Turn complex problems into smart, profitable solutions.
  • Leverage your well-established network and industry expertise to open doors and build long-term client relationships.
  • Be where it matters—client sites, boardrooms, and industry events.
