About The Position

Chubb Insurance Solutions Agency (CISA) is expanding its business development team to reach more independent agents nationwide. This Business Development Manager position focuses on telephonic sales within a designated Chubb-aligned geographic territory, reporting to the Personal Lines Senior Vice President of Chubb Insurance Solutions.

Requirements

  • Telephonic sales responsibilities for an assigned group of agents across a defined geographic territory.
  • Focus on Personal Risk Services sales.
  • Market and grow Farm and Ranch products where appropriate.
  • Attract new distribution sources to territory.
  • Facilitate growth across all business segments and products (Agribusiness, Accident & Health, Middle Market Commercial, etc.) using a 'One Chubb' approach.
  • Achieve metrics across KPIs: quotes, issued policies, line and industry mix, and profit.
  • Understand local marketplace, Chubb capabilities, and corporate vision.
  • Develop tactical telephonic sales plans.
  • Achieve objectives: new business production, market share capture, new agency appointments, revenue growth, mix of business, retention, and profit.
  • Work with Chubb underwriting staff and field colleagues.
  • Maintain and share feedback on market conditions.
  • Execute Chubb agency management strategies.
  • Develop and manage key strategic relationships.
  • Identify new customers through pipelining, pre-qualification, territory analysis, and management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute telephonic business development strategies for an assigned group of agents within a defined geographic territory, focusing on Personal Risk Services sales and marketing Farm and Ranch products where appropriate.
  • Build and execute a strategy to attract new distribution sources to the territory.
  • Facilitate growth across all business segments and products, including Agribusiness, Accident & Health, and Middle Market Commercial, adopting a 'One Chubb' approach.
  • Consistently deliver superior results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Manage and maintain focus on achieving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics, including quotes, issued policies, line and industry mix, and profit.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the local marketplace, Chubb's capabilities within that marketplace, and the corporate vision.
  • Develop tactical telephonic sales plans to achieve annual objectives, including new business production, market share capture, new agency appointments, revenue growth, mix of business, retention, and profit.
  • Work closely with Chubb underwriting staff and field colleagues to promote a 'One Chubb' approach to products and capabilities.
  • Maintain and share feedback regarding market conditions specific to the geographic territory.
  • Execute Chubb agency management strategies, and develop and manage key strategic relationships.
  • Identify new customers through effective pipelining, pre-qualification, territory analysis, and management.
