About The Position

This position is responsible for new roofing, siding, and gutter business development. This individual will partner with the Branch Manager and the Director of Sales & Estimating to cultivate and develop new homebuilder business relationships. May oversee the sales portion of the Custom division.

Requirements

  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of markets and clients.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong business sense and industry knowledge.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally and within AOCG market areas - up to 10%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of new business development experience, preferably in construction or building materials.
  • Thorough knowledge of roofing, siding and gutters.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing existing sales pipelines and developing new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate homebuilding industry trends, customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
  • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with the Branch Manager and Director of Sales & Estimating to promote internal communications and support for sales efforts.
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers; selecting customers that align with business strategy.
  • Network for sales candidates to add to sales support in major markets.
  • Interface to communicate builder specifications and details relative to market and product design nuances to the Estimating Department for pricing.
  • Stay abreast on industry trends, particularly within assigned markets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
