Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of business development experience within commercial real estate, construction, facility management, and/or property management industries required.
  • Proven track record of growing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and achieving business development goals.
  • Strong sales, presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms required, with the ability to travel up to 25%, including occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients, public sector partners, elected officials, and community organizations to support long-term business growth and brand awareness.
  • Network with national, regional, and local organizations to identify economically viable business opportunities across Real Estate, Construction, Facility Management, and Property Management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal divisions, managing onboarding, contract negotiations, and overall customer relationship activities.
  • Partner with leadership across all four divisions to evaluate opportunities, prepare business case analyses, and support company-wide business development strategies.
  • Represent Pleasant Valley at trade events, industry associations, and community organizations while staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
