About The Position

Gazer is an international manufacturer of automotive security systems, including immobilisers, dash cameras, and related electronics. The company currently operates in Ukraine, South Africa, the Middle East, Canada, the UK, and India, collaborating with distributors, dealers, insurers, and fleet operators. Gazer is now expanding into the United States, specifically California, and is seeking a Business Development Manager to establish and grow its presence in this new market. This role involves building a partner network and shaping Gazer's operational strategy in California and beyond. The position is a full-cycle sales role with a regional ownership mindset, requiring the individual to identify targets, initiate contact, conduct sales, close deals, and manage accounts as relationships develop. The role combines remote work for coordination with the international team, outreach, and pipeline management, with on-the-road activities such as visiting partners, conducting product demonstrations, coordinating sample testing, and finalizing agreements in person. Target partners include automotive businesses (dealerships, importers, distributors, fleet operators) and automotive insurance companies, particularly those involved in claims and vehicle recovery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience — from cold outreach to signed contract
  • Proven track record of cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Readiness to work a cold market: no warm pipeline on day one, you build it
  • Existing relationships at management level within automotive businesses (dealerships, importers, distributors) and/or automotive insurance companies in California
  • Native-level English
  • Own vehicle for partner visits
  • Willingness to travel across California for client meetings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with telematics, vehicle tracking, or automotive electronics
  • Existing contacts within fleet management or insurance claims departments

Responsibilities

  • Identify and map target partners across California: dealerships, auto importers, distributors, fleet operators, and insurance companies with automotive claims operations
  • Cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Visit prospective partners in person: present the product, coordinate sample testing and demos, build the relationship
  • Lead negotiations and close distribution or partnership agreements
  • Transition closed accounts into ongoing key account management: orders, support, growth
  • Report pipeline and market intelligence to the international team and senior leadership

Benefits

  • Company covers fuel and wear compensation
  • Travel expenses covered
