Business Development Manager – Crane, Rigging & Industrial Services

Superior Rigging and Erecting Co•Atlanta, GA
•Onsite

About The Position

Superior Rigging & Erecting is seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, develop customer relationships, and drive profitable revenue growth throughout the Atlanta market. This is an individual-contributor sales role focused on independently generating new business, developing a territory, acquiring customers, and managing the sales process from prospecting through closing—not primarily account management. The role develops relationships with general contractors, industrial facilities, manufacturers, construction managers, facility operators, and other organizations that need specialized lifting, rigging, transportation, and construction services. The manager is supported by experienced estimating, engineering, operations, and project management teams while taking direct responsibility for new-business development in an assigned territory. Success is measured by new customer acquisition, self-generated sales opportunities, qualified pipeline development, awarded revenue, and gross margin performance. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and involves regular travel throughout the assigned territory, including visits to prospective customers, active jobsites, industrial facilities, and construction offices. The employee must comply with company and customer safety requirements when visiting active sites and accommodate customer meetings, project requirements, and business development opportunities. Superior Rigging & Erecting has delivered crane, rigging, machinery moving, heavy transport, structural steel erection, fabrication, and specialty construction solutions since 1952. The company serves commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast and beyond, emphasizing technical expertise, quality execution, responsive service, and safety. This position offers the opportunity to develop new markets and long-term customer relationships with support from experienced internal teams.
