About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team at Foundation Rescue Supply. This position will focus on maximizing underperforming accounts, incoming marketing leads, building relationships with existing customers and grow into lead training sessions with customers. With over 75 years of combined experience, our team is the leader in the market. Our growing customer demand requires that we add this position to our team to meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in outside sales, generating new business leads.
  • We seek a business development manager who will provide aggressive capture management activities to support sales goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM or other sales data systems to track critical sales metrics and pipelines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Teams.
  • Clear understanding of the residential foundation repair, water control, humidity control, and crawlspace encapsulation markets.
  • Time management skills, balancing multiple customers and business development goals.
  • Clear written and oral communication is required.
  • This position collects substantial market information, which must be shared within the division to adjust pricing and company differentiation strategies.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must have reliable transportation to the workplace(s) and customer location(s).
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check related to driving.
  • Ability to pass drug screening.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Residential foundation repair, water control, humidity control, and crawlspace encapsulation contractor experience
  • Training and development for sales and field installation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Incoming Marketing Lead Requests: Pursue new business opportunities by following up on incoming leads from our marketing campaigns.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify untapped markets and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales tactics and strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire new customers.
  • Expand Existing Accounts: Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing clients to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess customer needs and identify areas for expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet the evolving needs of existing clients.
  • Implement proactive account management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Discovery and Understanding Business Metrics: Conduct thorough discovery sessions with prospective and existing clients to understand their business operations, challenges, and goals.
  • Analyze client data and metrics to identify improvement areas and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that address client needs and objectives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and insights based on a deep understanding of client needs and industry trends.
  • Customer Training & Development: Collaborate with customers to identify areas of their business that would benefit from additional training including: Call Center / Incoming Calls, Pre-inspection Marketing Techniques, Customer Appointment Inspection, Customer Sales Presentations, Sales Closing / Handling Objections, Installation Training, Exceeding Customer Expectations.
  • Lead training sessions with customers and identify opportunities to improve our training programs.
  • Digital Ordering & Customer Adoption Strategy: Drive customer adoption of Foundation Rescue Supply’s online order request platform as an additional sales and customer service channel.
  • Educate prospective and existing customers on the benefits of submitting orders online, including faster order processing, easier product visibility, after-hours order submission, and reduced dependency on direct rep interaction.
  • Work with customers to transition repeat and standardized purchasing behaviors into the online ordering platform while maintaining high-touch relationship management.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline the customer ordering experience through digital tools, training, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, operations, and marketing teams to improve online customer engagement, increase platform utilization, and support long-term scalability.
  • Promote the online order request platform during customer visits, training sessions, follow-up calls, and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist customers with onboarding, account setup, navigation, and ongoing use of the online ordering system.
  • Track customer usage trends and identify accounts with opportunities to increase digital engagement and ordering frequency.
  • Support the company’s long-term strategy of creating multiple sales channels that improve customer convenience, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Provide World Class Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, complaints, or issues.
  • Listen empathetically to client concerns and work to resolve them promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and address root causes of recurring issues.
  • Implement preventive measures to minimize future complaints or issues.
  • Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely in written communication.
  • Tailor communication style and tone to suit the audience and purpose.
  • Actively listen to understand client needs and concerns.
  • Build rapport and foster positive relationships through effective communication.
